About Thomistic Studies
Thomistic Studies is an online mission of the English Dominican Congregation of St. Catherine of Siena (Stone, U.K.), which is a Catholic organization of religious sisters that follow the charism of St. Dominic. Thomistic Studies is for persons interested in studying the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas and applying it to daily life.
Instructor in Thomistic Studies
Sr. Mary Magdalene, O.P., a Dominican sister with the English Dominican Congregation of St. Catherine of Siena (Stone, U.K.), explains Aquinas' teaching on various topics, and students are free to discuss it and learn more from one another. Sr. Magdalene has an S.T.L. (Licentiate in Sacred Theology) in Thomistic Studies from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C.
Through her unique and personalized approach, Sr. Magdalene's students are able to discover the perennial truths and wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas. Her greatest joy is watching students unlock their own potential in learning and applying these truths to their daily lives, as they grow in union with God.
