In this lecture, Sr. Mary Magdalene will discuss the importance of appropriation of essential attributes according to their affinity with the personal properties of a particular divine person. Appropriation is helpful to the manifestation of what Scripture has revealed to us concerning the divine persons. She also discusses whether the notional acts of generation and spiration are voluntary, necessary, or neither, and how Aquinas understands this.
