Doctoral candidate at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Rome) with a focus on Trinitarian Christology.
I am a sister with the English Dominican Congregation of St. Catherine of Siena (Stone, U.K.), and I explain St. Thomas Aquinas’ teaching on various topics through online courses, videos, audio recordings, articles, and blogs.
In 2018, upon completing my studies in DC and joining the English Dominican sisters in Cambridge, UK, I discovered that as more people become interested in Thomism, there is a greater need for more instructors to explain the teachings of St. Thomas and so benefit the lives and souls of many, helping students to grow in the understanding and practice of their faith.
Since then, I have worked with students of all backgrounds, delivering courses to develop theological and philosophical study habits in my students and change their lives for the better. My greatest joy is witnessing my students unlocking their own potential in developing a soul friendship with God.
I believe theological studies can help one to develop a deeper union with God and to strengthen their faith, especially when learning from the teachings of Aquinas, one of the greatest theologians of all time.
Sr. Mary Magdalene's classes are extremely clear and easy to understand. She has the talent and capability to accurately simplify very complex philosophical messages to make them intellectually accessible to the theologically uneducated minds, without diminishing the richness and depth of St. Thomas' teaching. I am completing my third course with her and I will certainly continue this learning journey to enrich my faith with further courses as well.
